Filipino Book Author Bob Ong Rumored to be dead.
It was a shocking and extraordinary afternoon for me on April 29, 2010, I woke up at 12 noon and opened my twitter account and i saw these messages about Bob Ong being dead:
One twitter user readily accepted the news about Bob Ong’s death:
But another user had doubt with the shocking news (Nagdududa kung totoong patay si Bob Ong):
Fortunately, there are other twitter users saying that Bob Ong is not dead like this one who claimed that Roberto Ong (a.k.a. Bob Ong) was confined in Chinese General Hospital (CGH):
Bob Ong, a pseudonym, is considered one of the best contemporary author in his generation known for using conversational Filipino to create humorous and reflective depictions of life as a Filipino. With that, his death, if its true, would be costly to philippine publication and a big loss to the Filipino people.
