Agua Bendita is Philippine’s best primetime show

According to ratings posted by Starmometer.com, the fantaserye Agua Bendita gets the no. 1 spot for primetime garnering over 39% nationwide beating timeslot competitor Panday Kids. (source)

Its is based on the 1980s comics by Rod Sontiago. It was first born on tv through ABS-CBN’s Komiks starring Shaina Magdayao and Rayver Cruz.

Agua Bendita follows the story of twin sisters, one is normal while one is born with a physical defect. Agua will struggle to find meaning in her life as she deals with her unexplainable physical condition. Meanwhile, in spite being born normal, Bendita will grow up insecure toward her twin sister. Agua and Bendita will become bitter rivals, until through a mysterious stroke of fate their situations will be reversed. Is there a way to cure the hatred between the sisters?

The new show features Andi Eigenmann, daughter of Jacklyn Jose, playing her first starring role as Agua Cristi and Bendita Cristi. Other casts includes Matteo Guidicelli, Jason Abalos, Vina Morales, John Estrada, and Alessandra de Rossi.
