Villar, Aquino, Estrada – Advertising Expenses

The presidential candidates had a spending spree on political ads on TV, internet and other advertising media reaching to a total of over 440 million pesos for all presidentiables.

Advertising Expenditure Ranking of May 2010 presidential elections:

1. Nacionalista Party (NP) bet Senator Manuel “Manny” Villar – 150 million pesos

2. Liberal Party (LP) bet Senator Benigno “NoyNoy” Aquino III – 118 million pesos

3. Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino (PMP) bet Former President Joseph “Erap” Estrada – 103.2 million pesos

4. Bagong Bayan bet Senator Richard Gordon – 69.7 million pesos

5. Bangon Pilipinas bet Eddie Villanueva – 1.02 million pesos

6. Lakas-Kampi-CMD bet Gilbert Teodoro – 330,680 pesos
