September 10 Holiday – Eidl Fitr End of Ramadan

The palace declares that the 10th of September 2010 will be a non-working holiday through Proclamation 26. It is to give way for the festivities for Ramadan.

On that day, marks the end of the holy month of fasting by the Muslims called ‘Eid ul Fit’r', ‘Aidil Fitri’ or ‘Eidl Fitr’. The celebration symbolizes purification of the Islam religion.

For the non-muslims, they will be enjoying a long weekend with their families and friends.
