Ivan Padilla killed in Makati Shootout

Leader of the notorious carnapping syndicate, Ivan Padilla, was killed in Makati. He was arrested by the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) anti-carnapping Group at 4:30 after being spotted by authorities according to NCRPO Spokesman Supt. Rommel Miranda. [Bombo Radyo Philippines].

But Padilla resisted the arrest, and refused to alight from his Toyota Vios. He then open fired to the police in the area. Unfortunately, he was wounded during the shootout according to ABS CBN News.

He was taken to the Ospital ng Makati to be treated but he didn’t survive.

A week ago, two members of the group, Dale Alemagno and Glen del Castillo, were arrested after recovering the cars of former Ambassador Roberto Romulo and the father of Derek Ramsay.
