Germany’s Young Team defeated Argentina – FIFA

The German national football team edged over the very offensive Argentinians at Cape Town’s Green Point Stadium. Goals from Thomas Mueller, Miroslav Klose, and Arnie Friedrich proved to be the key in winning the match in another clean sheet. Germany are now through to the Semi-Finals of the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa.

Both teams were fast, creative, experienced, and with lots of confidence. Previously, the two (2) teams met in the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany. However, Germany won it in a very exciting manner. An 80th minute goal from the Germans gave way to extra-minutes and penalty kicks. But Germany won the match 4-2 in penalty kicks.
