Its been several hours since the inauguration of President Benigno “NoyNoy” Aquino III. He immediately had a meeting with his new cabinet members at the Palace.
Among them is former Chief Justice Hilario Davide Jr. as head of the Truth Commission,
Jose Rene Almendras as the Energy Secretary (DOE),
Alberto Romulo as Foreign Affairs Secretary (DFA),
Cesar Purisima as Finance Secretary (DOF),
Leila De Lima as Justice Secretary (DOJ),
Voltaire Gazmin as National Defense Secretary (DND),
Bro. Armin Luistro as Education Secretary (DepEd),
Florencio “Butch” Abad as Budget and Management Secretary (DBM),
Cayetano Paderanga Jr. as National Economic and Development Authority Secretary (NEDA),
Quezon Rep. Proceso Alcala as Secretary of Agriculture (DA),
Undersecretary Ramon Paje as Environment and Natural Resources Secretary (DENR),

However, the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) is currently headed by the President himself. It is the government agency where Vice-President Jejomar Binay intended to have the highest position.
