Nike Shoes – a mark of filipino’s love for shoes

Two famous brands compete to become the world’s best sports shoe manufacturer: Adidas and Nike. Adidas has been prolific in sponsoring the world’s largest sporting events such as the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. On the other hand, Nike still has the mark of true quality and brand marketing with its new products in development.

Nike has been in distribution for several years in the Philippines. Unfortunately, I have bought an original Nike Shoe maybe 4-5 years ago since there are much more cheaper shoes in places such as Divisoria in Manila, and other famous tiangge in the country.

However, Nike (read as ‘Nay-kee’) still continue to distribute their products in the country despite the growing competition against cheaper shoes.

The brand is popularly known in the basketball world specially with the iconic Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan. But they also create running shoes, womens sports shoes, and other sportswear apparels.
