FIFA World Cup Group B Match Highlights

Group B is composed of Korea Republic, Argentina, Nigeria, and Greece.

Argentina opened the Group B with a win against Nigeria through a Gabriel Heinze header. But Nigerian should be proud of their Goalkeeper and Man of the Match Vincent Enyeama who kept a small goal difference for his national team.

A goal from Manchester United, Korea Republic midfielder and Man of the Match Ji Sung Park helped his nation in getting their first win in South Africa. An early 7th minute goal from Jung Soo Lee was also a great motivation for the team. They won 2-0 against Greece.

Greece players Dimitrios Salpingidis and Vasileios Torosidis brought down the 10-man Nigerian team and made a great comeback for the national team. On the other hand, another great performance from Nigerian Goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama made him the Man of the Match.

An Chu Young Park own-goal and Man of the Match & Argentinian Forward Gonzalo Higuain hat-trick showed the superb strike Argentinian strike force against the South Koreans. However, Korea Republic showed resiliency through a Chung Yong Lee second-half goal.

Korea Republic are qualified in the Last 16 of the tournament after an up-and-down game against Nigeria ended in a draw. Kalu Uche put the Nigerians in an early lead. But Jung Soo Lee and and Chu Young Park put the Koreans to a possible win. Unfortunately, a penalty shot from Ayegbeni Yakubu cancelled their goals. Ji Sung Park was awarded the Man of the Match.

Argentina won 3 consecutive games and booked a match against Mexico in the last 16 of the tournament after defeating Greece by 2 goals that were provided by Martin Demichellis and Martin Palermo. World Player of the Year Lionel Messi was awarded the Man of the Match after another impressive performance.
