FIFA World Cup Group G Match Highlights
Group G is composed of Brazil, Cote d’Ivoire, Portugal, and Korea DPR.
Emmanuel Eboue’s Cote d’Ivoire and Cristiano Ronaldo‘s Portugal saw a goalless draw in their match held at Port Elizabeth Stadium. Ronaldo was chosen by fans as Man of the Match.
Goals from Maicon and Elano secured a victory against a resilient Korea DPR. However, Korea’s Ji Yun Nam scored a consolation goal late in the game.
Portugal played an excellent game and totally dominated Korea DPR by scoring 7 goals. Man of the Match Cristiano Ronaldo was among the scorers which includes Raul Meireles, Simao, Hugo Almeida, and Tiago who scored goals in 68th and 89th minute respectively. It was an impressive game where they had 26 shots and 55% possesion against Korea DPR’s 15 shots and 45% possesion.
A very good flowing football put Brazil on a 3-1 victory against Emmanuel Eboue’s Cote d’Ivoire. Goals from Man of the Match Luis Fabiano and Elano negated Didier Drogba’s 79th minute goal. The win put Brazil in a good position for the last 16 qualifications match. Unfortunately, the team will lose Kaka after receiving a late red card.
